We adopted the telnyashka to offer our community a striped jersey steeped in history. Born on the decks of the Imperial Russian Navy, this white horizontal striped undergarment became the emblematic uniform of Russian submariners, Russian naval infantry and Russian airborne troops. It is still worn by every sailor, officer and navy-style enthusiast in search of authenticity.
Worn with raw denim or military fatigues, the blue-and-white striped Telnyashka ensures a casual yet assertive look. Its regular blue stripes sublimate urban outfits as well as seaside getaways.
From the Imperial Fleet to Stalingrad, every striped telnyashka symbolized courage and camaraderie. The famous Soviet sniper Vassili Zaitsev refused to take it off: proof that a simple horizontal striped undergarment can embody an entire nation.
