Red fire safety sweatshirt: clear identification and comfort in the field
The GK SAFETEK® fire safety sweatshirt meets the real needs of fire safety officers and SSIAP professionals. This red sweatshirt with anthracite stripe ensures quick identification, while allowing ease of movement.
The GK SAFETEK® stripe and “SÉCURITÉ INCENDIE” branding, printed on the chest and back, make it easy to recognize at a glance. In the field, it makes all the difference: the contrast between the bright red and the anthracite remains legible at first glance, even in a stream of people.
Long sleeves with hook-and-loop fasteners can be used to add badges, crests or identifiers to suit the position held. In practical terms, for a changing team or an agent changing assignment, this avoids having to replace the entire garment.
Elasticated cuffs, collar and hem keep the sweatshirt in place during repeated movements. What the sheet doesn’t show: during an operation, a garment that doesn’t ride up or twist is much more comfortable over time.
The 52% cotton/48% polyester fabric, with a 320 g/m² grammage, provides a good balance between fit and comfort. In the field, this translates into a sweater that withstands daily wear and tear, and maintains a stable fit after repeated use.
The model is available in 9 sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL, 4XL and 5XL. The first thing to check is that the shoulders and torso are sufficiently comfortable, especially if the sweatshirt is worn over a polo shirt or under an intervention jacket.
GK SAFETEK® standard: fire safety and SSIAP compliance
The GK SAFETEK® range is designed for fire and private security guards. The products comply with the decree of July 18, 2023, applicable from October 2024, with slots for the RIO number, professional card and company identification.
The range also complies with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, which means that the textile is tested for harmful substances, making it more suitable for extended holiday wear.
This sweatshirt is designed to meet the specific needs of SSIAP professionals and fire safety officers on assignment. However, it should be reserved for identification and service purposes: it is not a protective device against heat or flames.
